The Firefighters of Gem County Foundation is more than a nonprofit - we’re an experienced, boots-on-the-ground firefighting force dedicated to protecting our community. Led by veteran volunteer firefighters with decades of combined service, we respond directly to wildland fires with trained crews and specialized equipment, focusing on rapid response to keep small fires from becoming major disasters.

But our mission goes beyond the front lines. We raise funds to support local fire departments in need, provide grants for critical gear and equipment, and offer disaster relief to residents whose lives have been upended by fire. Whether it’s helping a department replace worn-out tools or putting boots in the field to cut a fire line, we’re here to make sure no call for help goes unanswered.

Our work is built on one belief: the faster we act, the more we save - lives, property, and the land we all call home.
